Listening to your messages
Firstly, check for messages;
When the power indicator LED on your Yealink phone slowly flashes red, there are unread messages in the system.
There are several ways you can pick up your messages and the 3 most popular are;
1 – Listening to them on your phone.
2 – Log into your control panel and listen to them there.
3 – Have them sent to your email and you and listen to them via your preferred email program.
Lets deal with each in turn.
1 – Listening to them on your phone.
If the message indicator on your VoIP phone is illuminated, or if you lift your receiver and you hear the dial tone sounding 4 times in quick succession, there will be 1 or more messages waiting. Initially, you should configure this feature on your phone with a pin number for security. Dial *97 to check your Voicemail, *98 or 1571 to check voicemail with auto login.
2 – Log into your control panel and listen to them there.
Log into your control panel at https://control.megganet.com
Select Telecoms > VoIP > Voicemail.
3 – Have them sent to your email and you and listen to them via your preferred email program.
Set up this feature by logging in to your control panel at https://control.megganet.com
Select Telecoms > VoIP > ‘Email Alerts’.
Here you can enter the email address you want the messages to be emailed to.
On the right of the screen, you will be able to select various alerts to subscribe to.
You can also set a missed call alert to be sent to your email address. This contains the phone number of the caller if they haven’t withheld it.
